Sandra Pfetzing-Huber advises organisations at the intersection of defence, intelligence and digital transformation. She brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across the German Armed Forces and the technology sector, combining deep operational understanding with expertise in strategy, business development and the delivery of complex technology programmes.

She served for 13 years as an officer in the German Army, specialising in military intelligence, situational awareness and reconnaissance. Her military career included leadership responsibilities for organisations of up to 120 personnel and continues to shape her pragmatic, mission-oriented approach to decision-making and organisational development.

After transitioning into the technology sector, Sandra spent nearly a decade building and scaling defence and intelligence business for IBM. As an Executive Partner and business unit leader, she has been responsible for market strategy, business development, executive client relationships and the delivery of major transformation programmes for the Bundeswehr, federal authorities, NATO-related organisations and the defence industry.

Her expertise spans artificial intelligence, data platforms, secure cloud architectures, intelligence solutions, software-defined defence and multi-domain operations. She has led multidisciplinary teams across consulting, technology, software engineering and sales and has developed strategic partnerships between technology companies, defence primes and public-sector organisations.

At Bravo Six, Sandra advises companies seeking to enter, establish themselves or grow within the defence and security market. She supports both new defence ventures and companies from adjacent or traditionally non-defence sectors in understanding the market’s specific requirements, positioning their capabilities and developing viable, scalable business models. Sandra began her professional career as an officer in the German Army, where she developed her expertise in military intelligence and gained extensive leadership experience in operational environments. Her transition into the technology industry allowed her to combine this background with a strong interest in digital innovation, emerging technologies and new business models.

Throughout her career, she has worked at the interface between users, industry and technology providers. She is particularly passionate about strengthening European defence capabilities, accelerating the adoption of mission-relevant technologies and bringing together people with different operational, commercial and technical perspectives.
