Defence Readiness Check

Four weeks. Fixed scope. A scored baseline of how ready your company is to win and deliver defence business in EU and NATO markets.

Where this fits

You are selling into defence, or preparing to. You have a product, a pipeline and an ambition, and you need an outside view of what is holding the pipeline back before you commit budget and headcount.

What we assess

  • Capability fit: How your product maps to stated requirements in EU and NATO programmes.

  • Market access: Which customers, programmes and framework contracts are reachable within twelve months.

  • Procurement readiness: Whether your documentation, certifications and commercial terms survive a formal procurement process.

  • Compliance exposure: Export control, security clearance and supply chain requirements that gate your access.

  • Capture capability: Whether your team, process and bid infrastructure convert an opportunity into a contract.

  • Organisational fit: Where defence decision making sits in your organisation and who owns it.

What you receive

  • Readiness baseline: A scored assessment across the six dimensions with the evidence behind each score.

  • Gap list: Prioritised, with owner, effort and sequence for each item.

  • Access shortlist: Reachable programmes and customers with entry points named.

  • Management readout: A presentation and a two hour session with your leadership team.

How it runs

  • Week 1: Kick off, document review, access to pipeline and bid material.

  • Week 2: Interviews with your commercial, technical and compliance leads. Market and programme research.

  • Week 3: Scoring, gap analysis, validation against our partner network.

  • Week 4: Readout, prioritisation workshop, final report.

What we need from you

A named counterpart, access to pipeline and bid documents, four to six interviews of sixty minutes, and one leadership session of two hours.

Who delivers

A Principal leads delivery. A Senior Partner with flag officer or state secretary background reviews the findings before the readout.

What this engagement does not cover

The Readiness Check produces a baseline and a gap list. It does not decide your market entry. That decision is the subject of Defence Strategy.
